For the third year in a row, Util-Assist has been recognized for excellence in achieving a healthy, engaged and productive workplace. The Employee Recommended Workplace Award (ERWA), created by Morneau Shepell and The Globe and Mail, is the only award of its kind based entirely on feedback from employees. The award evaluates the total health of a workforce based on four “pillars” – physical, mental, work, and life. Recipients of the award can say that they are truly employee-recommended workplaces. Util-Assist is one of only 62 companies across Canada to receive this award in 2020.
Scoring is conducted anonymously to ensure that employees are given the opportunity to provide honest feedback about the employer’s dedication to health and wellness. By empowering employees to determine which organizations rise to the top and are recognized as Employee Recommended Workplaces, ERWA promotes two-way accountability between an employer and its employees.
“At Util-Assist, our employees have always been our greatest asset,” says Laura Ng, Director of Marketing and Communications at Util-Assist. “As a rapidly growing organization, our success depends on providing a healthy, collaborative, and rewarding workplace. We are thrilled to receive the Employee Recommended Workplace Award for the third year in a row.”
Util-Assist is now entitled to use the 2020 Employee Recommended Workplace badge of distinction on our website and marketing materials, and in our recruiting efforts. This badge tells current and future employees, as well as clients, that Util-Assist is an employer of choice, as declared by Util-Assist employees.
